Back when the weather was nicer, we released our butterflies. It was so fun watching the life cycle in the classroom, one of my favorite parts of first grade. Every single butterfly made it out of the chrysalis, and most of them did it during class time. It was so fun to watch!
Each student got a chance to pick up a butterfly and release it into its natural habitat. Carlos was less than thrilled about picking one up, so he watched from afar :)
